“How can we be happy about global peace and security if the whole world is controlled by only five countries? We are 192 nations and countries, and we are like Speakers’ Corner in London’s Hyde Park. We just speak and nobody implements our decisions. We are mere decoration, without any real substance. We are Speakers’ Corner, no more, no less. We just make speeches and then disappear. This is who you are right now.”
- Speech to the UN General Assembly, September 2009
The room is dark. There is a defening silence and all is still. Now, now is when i think. Thoughts of revolution, freedom, change. Thoughts of hope not just for the individual but everyone as a whole. Thoughts, dreams almost, of being able to see and know everything. When everyone is free. Not just phisicly or economicly, but free mentaly. Free to think and persue all that gives them fullfillment and a sense of belonging. Where we dont need a false sense of hope because theres nothing to hide from. Were the standered of greed and selfishness no longer exsist but instead social prosperity as unified race is of upmost importance. I dont dream for dreams signifies sleep. And i am more awake now, more than ever. I have hope.
